Visibility: A dense mesh is used to minimize the possibility of mosquitoes entering the carrier. Stainless steel mesh is used for birds that like to chew.
Ventilation: Mesh opening in the front and both sides. For Pak-o-Bird with stainless steel mesh in the summer or warm weather with high humidity, please disallow direct sun exposure and monitor the length of the travel. We have customers reported very high interior temperature inside the stainless steel mesh for a 30-35 minutes duration.
Carrying Method: It is BOTH a front and back carrier as well as a shoulder carrier for the regularly stocked sizes: XS, S and M size. Two sets of trianglar rings for securing the straps - the middle two rings are for the backpack position and the outer rings are for the front carrier position. All the straps are adjustable.

Minimize chewing: There are two  D-Rings on each side on the interior roof of the carrier for hanging bird toys. Two additional rings are on the floor for strapping and holding the bird toys in position when the carrier is in motion.

Keeping the bird from picking on the seam: An optional set of wider panels is available to cover the joining seam of the zipper. We've learnt that some birds may pick on the stitches.

Comfort: The back of the carrier as well as the front/back straps are padded for your comfort.

Cleaning: The carrier can be unzipped to a flat configuration for a complete cleaning. A removable bottom floor panel is added for daily use. Hand wash only.

Privacy: One curtain in the exterior of each side. They can be rolled up and attached or draped down and attached. Same for the front window flap. There are two strips of 'sky light' in the back that are not covered.

Storage: The Pak-o-Bird's sides and front can be unzipped and folded into a flat configuration. It's very compact and can be stored away
