peakaboo nuts hatched December 2002 FEATURING BRAZIL NUTS --- A peakaboo nut is our special concoction... my little quakers and greys love the nutmeat in a brazil nut but the nuts were too big to hold and they were not strong enough to break open the shells (which is all where all the fun is)! So, I came up with this unique concept which I call "peakaboo" nuts.. where I add some holes in the outside shell, creating a grip for their little toes and they can beak their way thru to the nut ~ the holes are perfect size for their little tongues... hahha. These natural brazil nuts are a favorite with all my parrots!
