islands toy  hatched June 19, 2007

I designed this toy for my woodchewers... alexindrine ringnecks Wilma and Ziggy, Umbrella Sweetpea and greys knuckles (pictured on left) and Baby. Big hunks of 2" thick balsa wood bolongo blocks are layered with jumbo 4" WILMA barky wood slices, rattling tugboats and big beakable birthday party beads and camel rings. Designed on extra thick avian rope.   The toy is meant to be draped across their cage or playstand since it's on the longer size... 2 feet!  In the picture, you can see I hung the toy on our jungle net... Knuckles loveS this big toy!
