Ringo is our oldest adopted parrot.. our little indian ringneck (which I designed & named my Ringo toy after).  When we were at Parrots of the World Parrot Shop in New York purchasing our Baby blue and gold macaw Tiki in November 2004, someone dropped off Ringo because they simply did not want her any more... she was 28 at the time.  Needless to say, we could not bare the thought of leaving the shop without her, so we proudly adopted her and brought her home.  She is extremely nippy, and impossible to handle, but believe it or not, does listen to one command...  when it's time for night night, all we have to say is "GO HOME" and Ringo walks right into her cage... she is such a good girl.  WE love her!!!
