I know... I know... it's sooo expensive, but it's a forever toy and really worth the investment.  This stainless steel refillable kabob can be hung the traditional way from the quicklink, or turn it into a beak-proof hanger by flipping it upside down, feeding the threaded end from the inside of the cage thru the cagebars, and spin the acrylic ball and tighten on the outside.  As bird turns the toy on the inside of the cage, the ball/lock will turn on the outside and never unscrew!    1/4" rod.
