8 Beaks is
all about premium quality products... so this is
the "cream of the crop" when it comes to
vegetable tanned leather. I have a special
source that hand picks our leather hides. They
are light in color, and soft on your hands. I
have personally gone thru the mill with other
sources... they are a bargain in price, but
harsh on the hands, and impossible to work with.
We are proud to say they are all made in the
good ole USA, and as my favorite expression
goes.. "you get what you pay for". Leather is
sold in 36" Laces... a convenient size for
toymaking!
